dodsworth_gti 11 Posted April 4, 2008 hey im half way through stripping my sorrento down to get alot of work done on it its on 309 gear up front and i was going to build a beam for the back then it got suggested to me to maybe see if the 306 stuff would go on how much wider would the 306 gear be,and would it go on bolt for bolt or would brackets need adjusting or even re locating and would it really be worth all the extra work? thanks ben Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Anthony 1,003 Posted April 4, 2008 It's much too wide (wheels stick out about 2-3" from the arches) and either needs a fair amount of work to fit. Basically, don't bother. Use the 306 arms for some useful negative camber by all means, and the anti-roll bar on GTi/S16/XSi models is a useful 205/309 upgrade once shortened and resplined by 205Parts - but the beam as a whole don't bother with.
