Fitting On New Wings

Hiya guys

 

I've just taken off my drivers side wing because it was starting top rust badly and had a hole in the bottom. (Blow torch method for getting the seal to give worked a treat!)

 

Now i'm just trying to work out how to get the new wing back on. I can see these 2 clips near the door.

I tried pushing the wing into them so that the clip will hold the wing in place but no joy, is there a knack to it?

have a look inside the car, there is some trim you need to remove, then a 10 mm bolt, use a long socket/extension otherwise you might lose a 1/4" rachet forever, ahem.

Wicked, thanks for that. So put the clips on the wing 1st then bolt the clip in place.

Makes allot more sense!!
