they can be quite tough to get out at times. remove the fuel rail first if you can (though they can get just as stuck ni that too) and just pull them as hard as you can. if you can get to them try some rubber/nylon aerosol lube around the seats. to get them back in you'll need some silicon grease, or somthing similar that won't perish the rubber O rings.

Open end spanner around narrow bottom of the the injector body and gently lever between the wider part of injector and head

Before doing any of that, run the engine & remove the fuse for the fuel pump allowing the engine to stall & remove the system pressure so you don't get a spray of fuel when you remove the fuel rail from the injectors.

Remove the clips from the fuel rail & it should lift off quite easily.

Other than that a spray of WD40 around the holes into the inlet manifold & a 17mm spanner (iirc) to gently lever them out.

Graham.

"Should" being the operative word....!!

Last time I removed a set it required the use of a hammer! They were stuck fast in the inlet and fuel rail.

Unlucky & excessive but if the engine is allowed to run for a five minutes so the inlet starts to get warm they should come out fairly easily.

They've normally all come out stuck to the fuel rail when I've removed them from the manifold (with a lever), then they just twist and pull out individually from the fuel rail.

I did what Graham advised, and only one stuck fast and took ages to move even after inlet manifold removal, but a quick dash of WD had it out again, putting them back was a different matter though.
