Blish10 0 Posted March 28, 2008 Hi guys Failed the MOT the other day with a "serious leak on OS rear damper" Went to change it and long story short, had to grind off lower bolt but I am now without 1 Pug said they'll get me 1 but not till Monday So my question is, can I drive the 20 mile round trip to work tomorrow and sunday, without a damper fitted? welshpug 1,657 Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) Its not advisable to drive it any distance at all without a damper, ever more so with an odd amount of dampers, it would make the car bounce uncontrollably. not only that you shouldn't drive a car on the road if it hasn't got an MOT, even worse if it has failed one!
