mechsmurf 0 Posted March 27, 2008 i have recently purchased 309 gti driveshafts and wishbones have managed to replace the inner driveshaft boots easily also the bushes on the wishbones for poly ones also managed to fit the new outer driveshaft boots but i am struggling to get the outer cv joint back on the shaft i can get the shaft into the cv joint but cannot manage to get the cv joint retaing clip over the shaft i would appreciate any advice also is it possible to fit a 207 electric steering rack to a 205 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The single biggest thing that makes a 207 less fun to drive than a 205 is its glutinous electrically-assisted steering which swamps all road feel.
