You'll be fine, they can only test things that are on the car.

Mines got rear seats but no belts, and it sailed through first time. I think its only law for cars built after 1986. Mines a B reg, '85 model.

perfecto pug

this made me chuckle in the body corrosion section-

If necessary careful scraping or light tapping of the affected areas with the Corrosion Assessment Tool is permitted.

what they mean is a bloody great screwdriver

By the looks of things, I either need to put my seatbelts back in, or remove the seats. because the car's too new.

and I can leave the bald spare on, (as they can only advise me that it's bald but not fail it).

I'm not confident at all that it's going to pass.

tim not sure about the spare wheel, my old boys car failed an mot on a bald tyre on the spare. Garage told him that a dodgy tyre on a spare wheel is a failure. so probably better taking it out on the day of the test.

On my last MOT they said the spare is not checked as it's not covered by the MOT. So it shouldn't matter if it's bald or not. If it is bald take it out just in case you've an over zealous tester.
