sutol 0 Posted March 25, 2008 Any one know the torx size to remove 406 front calipers ? I'm doing my brothers brakes tomorrow and would like to have the tools when I arrive. I have a 55 in my toolbox for some reason but thats it for big ones Help appreciated

sutol 0 Posted March 25, 2008 i thought it was 55 Anyone certain. ? If I remember rightly, the 55 was bought for Vauxhall headbolts and it is a long reach one, but if it's the right one for the calipers then great. I have taken them off before but can't remember which tool I used, or maybe that was lotus ones I'm thinking of. I'm easily confused these days
jackherer 543 Posted March 25, 2008 Pug headbolts are T55 and my Xantias caliper bolts are T55s so PSA seem fairly keen on that size... I can't say for sure about 406s though.
