Sorry Ive also done alot of that as well but thanks for the quick reply.

The problem being i can only work on it after work at night. My garage is rented in a residential area, and Im only meant to use it for storage so i dont wont piss the neighbours off as we have all got the same landlord. :)

Garages are very hard to find in this area if you now what i mean.

I'm try to hack some of it off myself at the moment, as I'm replacing one of the rear bumper mountings. I've been slicing through the metal with an angle grinder cutting disk, and the heat generated off that seems to help free it up a bit (plus lots of smoke!). But I managed to lever a fair bit off once you get bit of metal exposed and you can get under it.

Not sure what anyone thinks of this but im told my a friend in the us that it is "Thee tool"... hmmmm expensive though :-(

No good for getting wings of on a pug i bet... might do the floors ok... burning seam sealer produces cyanide gas i believe iirc, that blue smoke aint all that good so make sure your well ventilated...

I think wire brushes on drill/grinder and putty knife, patience, more patience, and that should do it eventually.

Those twisted/knotted wire brushes seem to work well(more heavy duty).

Or a cup type of the same twisted sort...

nitromors does the job quite well,

stick some on, scrape it off, then apply some more till it comes off..

its not very nice to work with but it does the job without power tools, but if you could get something like a generator buy one of those knotted wire brushes for an angle grinder, they're amazing and last for ages

edit sorry i thought you had no electric
