could be a faulty earth or possibly the washer pump. poor earth is most common

i'd stay with the standard air filter system, but i would fit a k&n replacement filter. did that to a couple of previously owned cars, and i thought it worked very well.

at least with the standard air filter set up, you do get a direct air feed. whereas with an induction kit, the headlight obscures direct air feed

i can't decide either, might try it with the standard air box as when i bought a standard air filter for my rallye it felt much smoother and idles much better, can't see peugeot making it like it is without good reason

I am pretty certain it will fail if the rear wiper and/or washer is not working. It's one of those things, you don't have to have one fitted, but if you do, it must work!

Good luck!

the rear washer doesnt have to work, and you might aswell just take the rear wiper off for the mot just in case

The rear wash/wipe isn't part of the test.

My track 205 doesn't have a rear wiper motor to save weight but it has a wiper arm just held on with a bolt to stop it looking weird and its never failed the mot because the rear isn't part of the test.
