cheers toddydal quite happy with it now :P removing old bumper brackets at the mo. which is a real pain, having to cut them off :) then rustproof and paint. do you think I should waxoyl the area before refitting bumpers , front /rear valances?

Yeah i would. i have on mine (slapped it on with a brush). muck, including salt hangs on around there. The fronts as your likley to know rust.
