eddie bullit 37 Posted March 19, 2008 I've read in previous posts that we can get discounts from dealerships. Does this make them competitive with the likes of autofive/neat autos? Im after front and rear bumper brackets who am I best of using? Thanks for your help.
welshpug 1,656 Posted March 19, 2008 IMO they're competitive with Autofive before the discount, Neat can be a lot cheaper but I doubt they'd have a bumper bracket in stock.

welshpug 1,656 Posted March 19, 2008 they all should, but it depends if you're a member of a club (PSOOC and Club Peugeot are the only discounted clubs I know of with Peugeot) the code is on the systems as Peugeot sport!
davepug205 7 Posted March 20, 2008 I got myself a o/s gti front wing from a main dealer in Manchester for 30 quid last week. couldnt belive it when he told me the price. But it was the last one left in the area an I still need the other side sorry a bit off topic
James_m 0 Posted March 20, 2008 The PSOOC discount only applys to a few dealers across the country unfortunatly.
welshpug 1,656 Posted March 20, 2008 (edited) strange one that, as the discount code appears on all their systems I've been told (by a parts man at peugeot, he showed me the option in the dropdown menu) must be just lucky that theses 3 dealers in the same group round here then! BuD 0 Posted March 20, 2008 It seems like it depends on the dealer. Both the old dealer where I used to live and new give 'trade price' once you build up a rapour and they know you order a decent amount of stuff. My local pug are excellent. Trade used to be 20%-25% off all stuff on an invoice but now it varies across items but equates to about the same. They seem to quite like sorting the hard and obscure older parts, even spending time on an order thats a few obscure bolts, but hate it if you make them order the wrong stuff. Also if I want stuff next day it cant be discounted whereas if I have it on wed or fri (the stock order days) I get trade.
GTI6BOY 29 Posted March 20, 2008 (edited) i went to my dealer a few times and got to know them and they have given me a cash account i now get same discount as any garage which is up to 40% off dependent on the part i just paid £85 all in for a 1.9 driveshaft...get in! use them a few times and tell them you will be using them lots and would it be alright to have a CASH account put stuff on stock order for maximum discount. After going in at least twice a month for the last 8 years they start to recognise you and start knocking the prices right down on most items. I have a Trade cash sales account. Just means i make payment on collection.
