Help Identifying Callipers Please..

I was told when I bought the car (H plate 1.6) it had 1.9 front brakes fitted. I've done some reading up and the 1.9's normally use Girling.

 

I'm convinced these are just standard 1.6 bendix calipers, they have bendix and 343144 stamped on them.

 

I need to order some pads today so they'll be here in time to fit them at the weekend.

 

Can someone please confirm I'm right in thinking these are just normal 1.6 Gti bendix calipers?

yup offset of the disc shows that its got 1.6 hubs and discs too.

Think I'm going to go for Yellow stuff pads, we are doing an airfield sprint type thing and the yellows are ment to have good cold bite so they seem ideal and are also a lot cheaper than 1155's etc

You pay for what you get, I;d go Mintex over EBC anyday, have a seach on the Forum and you won;t find many posts/comment's on EBC's and lot's on Mintex and the DS range

Normally I would steer well clear of ebc after hearing horror stories of green stuff pads falling to bits but the yellows seem to have ok reviews.
