sport1901966 8 Posted March 14, 2008 Is there an engine code stamped anywhere on the 1.9 blocks to be sure that the engine is infact a 1.9. Anthony 1,003 Posted March 14, 2008 There will be a tag on the block above the alternator that says "D6B" on it for a 1.9 non-CAT engine. Yellow injectors and a sump spacer plate are other giveaways over a 1.6 GTi engine. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
