JimLad 1 Posted March 14, 2008 Going to look at one tomorrow as it is incredibly cheap. What should I be looking for other than the usual problems any car suffers from? welshpug 1,657 Posted March 14, 2008 (edited) timing belts, electrical issues, and on the older ones rear beam wear. occasionally corrosion problems on sunroof models but generally rot free. beware of excessively lowered examples as they do tend to wear out suspension components much quicker. best thing is to have a look at www.306gti6.com and have a search through the forums.
