woodsy 0 Posted March 12, 2008 already postd about my mates car but still stuck really.Basically we got no spark and no power to fuel pump.Looks like we have power goin to coil but nothing coming out, i have tried other coil but no luck.Am i right in saying that the 2 relays on the 16v loom behind headlight are the fuel pump realy and ecu one.How do i test both of these properly because if i bridge the green smaller one i can get the pump to fire but nothing when you crank engine over.Hope that makes sense Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

chownr 0 Posted March 13, 2008 If the relays arent faulty Id say the crank sensor has gone down as the Crank signal controls both fuel and ignition at the ECU. Im no expert but have been changing over to Omex ignition and had exactly the same situation - no spark or fuel which are controlled by the engine crank sensor. Once Id sorted the wiring out for Crank sensor hey presto away she went. Take out a plug and see if you are getting fuel into the cylinders and check for spark - No fuel or No spark can only be relays or Crank Sensor/Signal Was the car running previously or are you getting it up and ruinning for the first time?
