robgti 0 Posted March 10, 2008 Hi all my front washers recently stopped working so i got a new pump and tried that and they still dont work. The wipers still work but was wondering if any one had any ideas to why the pump wont? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
welshpug 1,656 Posted March 10, 2008 dirty connection, or earth. I had the same problem with mine last week. Pull the plug off the motor and clean the spade terminals inside it (scrape away the corrosion), and check the condition of the earth point behind the headlamp on that side. Baz 421 Posted April 8, 2008 The stalks also fail, if you pull the stalk as if to work the washers and the wipers don't wipe, then it's the stalk. If you bridge a live straight to the pump it will tell you if it works or not. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
