Hi all my front washers recently stopped working so i got a new pump and tried that and they still dont work. The wipers still work but was wondering if any one had any ideas to why the pump wont?

dirty connection, or earth. I had the same problem with mine last week.

Pull the plug off the motor and clean the spade terminals inside it (scrape away the corrosion), and check the condition of the earth point behind the headlamp on that side.

i have actually took the plug off and put two new connectors on and still nothing. Could it be something wrong with my stalk?

The stalks also fail, if you pull the stalk as if to work the washers and the wipers don't wipe, then it's the stalk. If you bridge a live straight to the pump it will tell you if it works or not. :)

9 times out of 10 in my experience the cause of this problem is the s*itty earthing point on the headlight panel.

I had the same problem and it was down to the earth wire, even after cleaning, it still occasionally stopped working so I ran a new earth wire to it and its been fine ever since,

Ive had 2 stalks go on me. Second hand ones though. If you think its the stalk, flick it like mad whilst listenening out for a noise from the pump. It worked for me
