Brake And Reverse Lights Not Working

Hi all,

 

I have a 205 cti with the above lights not working. The bulbs are fine. With regards to the brake lights they are also the tail lights which work fine its just the brake lights don't come on on both sides when the brakes are pressed.

 

I'm pretty sure its not the brake switch either as this was replaced last year? How would i test this ?

 

I think its the wiring in the boot that is the prob as someone has fitted a towbar and all the wiring is a right mess ? can anyone tell me what colour wire i'm looking for that controls the brake portion of that tail bulb ?

 

Any help much appreciated.
