steve@cornwall 100 Posted March 7, 2008 hi ya,when i go to fill up the pug,it bubbles up and overflows...this aint normal is it?...(i have to do it very slowy and keep an eye on it) All mine have done this, often spitting on my shoes if I run it really low on fuel. M_R_205 5 1 Cars Posted March 7, 2008 (edited) same here, you can angle the pump in such a way to stop it though, a bit of a pain in the arse Edited March 7, 2008 by M_R_205

Paintguy 0 Posted March 8, 2008 It's quite normal, but if you push the pumps nozzle as far in as it will go, and angle it so it is pointing as 'downwards' as it will go (handle high up), then it'll not be as much of a problem. It's all to do with the breather pipe that lets the air out of the tank as the fuel goes in. With the nozzle only part way in, the fuel flow blocks this pipe, causing an airlock and subsequent pump shut off.
