Ecu - Where Is It Located?

right im getting a little confused the ecu fits on top of the air flow meter?

Not in a 205. That is true of 405 SRIs and Citroen BX GTis though. 205 GTI ECUs are under the dashboard on the drivers side (right hand drive).

so dash got to come out then cheers

Only the panel on the right where the driver's knees are. After you've taken that out then you can look up and see it to the right of the steering column. The panel is only held in with a couple of screws.
