Mi16 Start Up From Cold.

hello all,

 

i have noticed when i start it from cold, the top can be quite noisey in the middle, but when it reved its quietens down, maybe if hardly any when idle.

 

was think maybe a sily question as oil would be cold. cant be bottom end as when it revs its fine.

 

is that right?

right started it again and seems to have gone, maybe because the lifters etc have filled with oil, and oil is warm. im so glad. its this cold weather.

Sounds like lifters yes, my MI used to do the same thing on start up, would clear after a few seconds though.
