Mi16 Oil Temp Sensor....where Is It?

Hi, the only thing left to sort on the wiring on my 1.9 Mi is the oil temp guage. Please can somebody tell me where the sensor is? i have done a search but didn't find anything about the location,

Do you mean next to the sump plug? My sump just seems to have 2 sump plugs!

No its on the back of the sump effectively pointing towards the rear of the car (this is on an alloy sump I should say, not sure if the tin sump is different or not). Ill try and find a picture to illustrate.

If you've got two sump plugs it sounds like someone has removed it and just placed another sump plug there! (they're the same thread).

Thanks for the info, I will put a sensor in when I change the oil after running the engine in
