Carb Re-building

Recommended Posts

Ok so after just buyin a Weber Haynes manual and reading through the Overhaul section its seems rather beyond my capabilities, has anyone ever comletely overhauled a set of 45 DCOE's, is it really a hard job as the book makes out to be?!

Im thinkin it might be more safer and worth while for me to send them away to maybe Shenpar and have them re-built for me professionally?!?

WHat do you think?!

Its fairly easy as long as everything goes to plan, I used to do this quite a lot in a place I worked at. An ultrasonic bath would be a bonus.

I completely stripped mine down cleaned them up and rebuilt them with new gaskets seals pump jets etc using info from the internet to set the floats and it seemed pretty simple stuff really.

Matt.
