Dan Ingram 1 Posted February 22, 2008 Will twin 40s be big enough for a 2litre iron block mi or will 45s be needed?
Baz 421 Posted February 22, 2008 (edited) Can of worms... Different trains of thought here but personally they should be fine with 36mm chokes. But some will say otherwise. Edited February 22, 2008 by BazGTMi
Hilgie 16 2 Cars Posted February 23, 2008 I'd say you have to go with 45ers. 40ers will be fine on an 8V though.
danpug 1 Posted February 23, 2008 I mentioned this a while back but nobody responded, people put 45's on an mi16 (for example) and choke them down to 36mm but everybody says you shouldn't use 40's even though you could put 36mm chokes in them? What is the difference? Surely its all down to choke size.
