Rich_p 23 Posted February 22, 2008 Would there be any advantage to using an electronic ignition system like lumintion for example in place of the normal rotor arm set up? Or have I got the whole idea very wrong and it won't work at all?

brianthemagical 1 Posted February 22, 2008 am i not right in thinking GTi's run electronic igintion? unless you mean mappable, ecu controled ignition.

brianthemagical 1 Posted February 24, 2008 Remaoving the dizzy completely? If your thinking along the lines of proper old cars, like minis etc, having electronic ignition conversions, then they keep the rotor i think, and 205's have an equivelent electronic system.
