Anyone Had Any Experience Of Gst Clutches?

As the title says guys, I'd imagine it's the old "you get what you pay for" but at half the price are they really that bad?

Has anyone had one?

Yep, i had one of the £25 ones from GSF, and it was a waste of money. Release bearing started rattling after 100 miles, the cover plate didnt actually fit due to the locating dowels being slightly out, so i had to use the old one :)

Worst of all (yes, worse B) ) Is the awful clutch judder it has only when cold for the first few take ups, you literally have to bring the clutch up for fear of it breaking every part in the surrounding area, tho its actually quite good after that.

All in all, not reccommended :P Im going to buy a Valeo clutch....

I bought one from GSF the other day. I'm sure it was more than £25 but it was part of a bit batch of stuff so I might be wrong. It's made by LUK though, and they're as good as anyone IMHO.

They're they type of clutch you put on a car you're about to sell. They're cheap and fix the clutch for just long enough for it to be someone else's problem.

I fitted a GST clutch kit to my ex's car over four years ago & its still works fine now 20k+ later.
