Bolting Mi Iron Block To Engine Stand

Recommended Posts

Dan Ingram

I need to bolt an Mi block on to my engine stand. I haven't picked the engine up yet but I could do to know what I need so I can have it ready to go on as soon as i've picked it up. Wheres best to bolt it to and does anyone know what size bolts I need?

Might just be worth checking the bolt length required though - I needed to get some longer bolts on my stand to go through the sleeves and into the 3 threaded holes in the block - the last one (adjacent to diff) needs a through bolt and nut as the threaded part is in the g/box (i.e. reverse of other 3).
