Compiling Info On Steel Wheels (steelies)

Recommended Posts

Henry 1.9GTi

Dear Sir,

you´re right, there was a recall for PS 815008 in 2003.

Sice 2003 PS 515008 was replaced by the part number PS 815011 with the same technical dimensions.

We´re sorry, but it is recommended to not use PS 815008 anymore.

Best regards,

Boris von Werne

Be concerned, but I know people who still race on them. Check for cracks on a regular basis.

Hi Guys,

Im in the hunt for the "magnifique" C5 steelies. I read a lot of threads and I got the following infos:

The alloys are 6" wide with ET18 and the correct part number is ps815011

With ps815011 you can trackday because it is the newer, good type steelie

It fits on 266 mm brakes

Am I correct? :) In Hungary is not easy to find the recall infos and a proper set.

Hi,

Thanks!

Well Im using 266mm. So the other two states are correct too I guess :)

Im afraid breaking them and falling down from the track.

Hi Guys,

I just bought a set of these wheels.

The price was 73,5 GBP + the short trip.
