Jackman 0 Posted February 17, 2008 Will stuff from a 205 GTi fit onto my 205 rallye. I ask because i need a new hub and ive found a 1.6 GTi one cheap but unsure weather it will fit! Ive also found some custom suspension set up which is also for a GTi... So is there much difference? Thanks!
danpug 1 Posted February 17, 2008 (edited) The 1.6 hub will fit but i'd imagine the offset will be well out compared to the original, best do both at the same time, along with the brakes. Edited February 17, 2008 by danpug
ifcho 0 Posted February 17, 2008 European rallies are virttually the same as 205 1.6 gti, except the engine, I don't know if it is the same for uk rallies.
DaveW 6 Posted February 17, 2008 Suspension struts yes, not wishbones or the 1.6 hubs...
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted February 18, 2008 A UK Rallye is effectively nothing other than a re-badged XS so any hub, wishbone etc from a base model 205 will fit but like Dave said the GTi (1.6 or 1.9) stuff won't be right. A pair of 1.6 GTi hubs would be Ok but not individually. Graham.
trogboy 17 Posted February 19, 2008 You'll need the 1.6 calipers and disks for the 1.6 gti hubs also.
