welshpug 1,661 Posted February 15, 2008 everyone can have it mate, check my sig they're common to nearly all pugs as it happens, ok they're nylon but for how long they last and how cheap they are I don't think its worth spending more gear linkages are a different matter I think, I want to go metal on them. Miles 331 1 Cars Posted February 15, 2008 If your handy with a lathe or know someone who is you can mod the 306 bushes as these are 100% better in design, I will be getting some made up soon
welshpug 1,661 Posted February 16, 2008 you've confused me now miles, one of the two part numbers mentioned above are for the 306 as well?!
oli-pug 6 2 Cars Posted February 17, 2008 Does anyone know if the standard bushes fit constella linkages. The kit i bought a few years back didnt come with any sort of bush, you just secure the ball end in with a clip. Is this why they're so damn noisy!?
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted February 17, 2008 If your on about the ball cup's then no but I know what you mean as it's only the retaining clip that holds them on, But any uprated part will transmit the noise more, You can grease them up which helps but I found them a mare to fit when I encounted them the other week as they kept falling off when I was putting the pin in
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted February 17, 2008 With the 306 bushes you need to machine them done along with the coller inside and you get a nice pivit point unlike the std 205 ones
oli-pug 6 2 Cars Posted February 17, 2008 Ok I'll try a touch of grease in them. Yeh, they are a real bloody nightmare to fit!
