skanny 0 Posted February 15, 2008 I have a rollcentre roll cage and the rear and middle legs need bolting in which looks easy enough apart from having to remove the tank to bolt the middle ones! - i assume thats what normally happens? The front legs have a hole in them for bolts but i cant see how to get a nut in to the sill? Any thoughts?
skinner2k3 3 Posted February 15, 2008 Does it need plates with nuts on the back welding to the floor like the SD cages?
SPGTi 2 Posted February 15, 2008 There should be a fitting kit supplied with the Rollcentre cage. For the middle legs above the fuel tank you should weld in 3mm plates and bolt through these. To attach the front legs you need to weld the "boxes" to the sills and weld captive nuts. A bolt in cage still requires a lot of welding to install it.
