welshpug 1,657 Posted February 12, 2008 what parts are you trying to source?
notamondayfan 44 Posted February 12, 2008 clutch kit, timing belt and tensioners, exhaust gasket, pas belt, alternator belt, water pump, clutch release fork bearings, cheers, dean
welshpug 1,657 Posted February 12, 2008 clutch kit, timing belt kit, w-pump exhaust gasket and clutch release fork bearings are all the same regardless of the age of the lump as far as I know. pas+alt belt depend on where the pas pump is mounted. D6C and DFW are the codes most commonly used by the way, or XU9J4, the list you pasted above show which management used on each version, do you know if yours is running its original management and which one it is? (check the code on the ecu)
Anthony 1,003 Posted February 12, 2008 It'll be an XU9J4 engine if it's a 1.9 Mi16 non-CAT, with the engine code D6C For most of the bits, you're better off ordering stating it's for a BX 16v as they were only ever available as a 1.9 16v - GSF have a nasty habit of supplying 2.0 Mi16 parts otherwise if you order saying it's for a 405 (in my experience anyway)
Emmy Seize 8 Posted February 12, 2008 (edited) D6C = without catalytic converter 158 PS DFW = with catalytic converter 147 PS As already asked, it depends on the parts you want to order whether the code makes any diference at all. Hmm- should improve my typing-speed... Edited February 12, 2008 by Emmy Seize

pugman211 0 Posted February 16, 2008 the DFW engine has a Lambda sensor on it, so look for one of those on the exhaust system. If there isnt one, its more likely to be the D6C.
