skeggyrik 3 Posted February 11, 2008 What would cause the choke warning light to be on, in the dash on a 1.9gti? And don't tell me it's the bulb!!! What switches that light in dash? Anthony 1,003 Posted February 11, 2008 There's a rouge yellow wire with a spade plug on the end of it roughly behind where the choke handle would be - my guess is that this has been either plugged into the steering column earthing block by mistake, or the wiring has been chaffed and is earthing out against something under the dash.
