marsy 0 Posted February 10, 2008 Im currantly changing all the brake pipes on my 205, and im having a nightmare of a job putting the one's on that go up behind the fuel tanks. I cant see how i can get the pipe through behind the tanks and onto the connectors. I had all the pipes and connections cut and done in my local shop, is that my pipes have got the connectors on it the reason i cant do it? Is there an alternative to running the pipes behind the tanks lol? Thanks guys. I was going to take it to the garage to have them done, but thought i'll give it ago myself for a change lol. Syphon as much juice out as possible first, I used a nitrile glove and a rubber band to prevent what was left from evapourating. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

joe1joe 3 Posted February 11, 2008 as said its eaiser to remove the tank but u have to lower the exhaust aswell, and the heat sheild and the hand brake cables, u could remove some of the fuel by removing the feed to the engine and just power the pump or spill it all over the garge floor like i did just make sure if the leave fuel in there that u have some one with u as u need to make sure u drop the passengers side of the tank first!
