skeggyrik 3 Posted February 5, 2008 (edited) I understand ARP rod bolts are about £80 for a set in the UK. I came across a US site selling them for $80. They ship them internationally with full customs forms declaring the product and the value so will most likely attract "import fees" on top but it is still likely to be cheaper is it not? How much are OE bolts? Edited February 5, 2008 by skeggyrik
Ryan 99 Posted February 5, 2008 I'd say add 25% to cover customs charges and VAT. Sometimes it's not quite that much, but it's less of a kick in the teeth if you're expecting it.
Sam 4 Posted February 5, 2008 There isn't much that isn't cheaper in the states. Another reason to leave the UK.
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted February 6, 2008 I've seen ARP rod bolts for £80 delivered in the UK. If you have to pay the customs fee's you might be saving a couple of quid but if the seller in the US marks them as a gift & not a purchase...... Graham.
Sam 4 Posted February 6, 2008 If you're not desperate I can always pick up a set when I am there on the 26th of this month. I'm over for 11 days.
