McPikie 0 Posted February 3, 2008 OK, my incorrect clutch cable seems to have made a bit of a mess of my rack gaitor. Its basically been rubbing on the bit just as it comes through the bulkhead, where is has a sort of joint. Is it a full rack out job to replace this, if it even needs replacing if its the small boot that covers the universal joint, i wouldnt even worry about replacing it tbh. mine doesnt have one and it hasnt had one for 9 years and it hasnt made abit of difference to it.
