number2301 1 1 Cars Posted February 2, 2008 I'll have to describe it cause I don't know what its attached to (I have an idea but not totally sure), its one of the 3 bolts which comes out of the top of the strut, snapped off as I was trying to make room to change the battery. How concerned do I need to be about this one being broken? I thought it should be alright to drive on seeing as the strut on the other side has only had two bolts for a couple of months. So will it be alright to drive for a while? Is it a strut off job to replace the missing bolts? Where's the best place to get a new pair? Is there any reason one side would have been missing a bolt when I bought it? Finally I seem to remember you can put the three bolts in two ways, which is right for a PAS car? You can get them from Pug, but only as part of the complete top-mount kit which includes the bearing, the rubber, the spring pan thing and all the nuts and washers you need. No, not at all i'm afraid, it just says top mount. i've got dealer items, one of which sheared a bolt, i felt the same pain as you, after compressing the spings. they replaced it no probs.
