Relining Parcel Shelf

i thought i saw a topic about somewhere about this but cannot seem to find it. i have searched. i remember what to do it just didn't know what glue/addesive they used to stick fabrice to the shelf.

 

any idea's on which is better. i thought maybe a spray addesive...?

Thats what i used last time i did one.

 

Use the stuff for carpets and just in a light but even coat. Make sure you get it in the right spot though first time

what is it you need it for? i just wnet to wilkonsons and bought the stuff they had.

I used accoustic cloth when converting mine to a stealth shelf along with spray glue, most good automotive places will stock this. I cannot remember the make, however I'm sure there are various out there that all do pretty much the same thing.

i would use the stuff they sell to cover your own sub boxes, its just a spray glue

Yes, most spray glues will do the job fine. I just go to my nearest bargain carpet outlet and get some of theirs.

 

It sounds like you'll be joining 2 absorbent surfaces, so spray both of them with glue and let it dry for 5 minutes or so, until it is slightly tacky, but not wet. Bring them together and it will stick instantly.
