Bumper Care

Recommended Posts

Guest sutchy

Hi all,

The plastic bumpers on my 1.6 gti are looking a tad worse for wear, does anyone have any recommendations for getting them back to looking brand spanking new?

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

AutoSmart Silicon Spray is very good, may not last as long as A/G Bumper Care but it's dirt cheap but trade only

Autoglym bumper care is without doubt the best i have ever used. Your bumpers will be as good as new in about 15 minutes and should stay like that for ages.

Now listen my friends, oliveoil! Use some god ol´oliveoil, but don´t tell the misses. :D

It needs three treatments with oliveoil, a week between them, then your bumpers will shine.

Just remember to polish all that ecessive oil away, otherwise things tend to stick on them :D

Autoglym again here :D :D

The spray ones don't seem to last as long and you also end up spraying half of it on the paint too :D

the autoglym stuff has a display all on it's own and is usually away from the other cleaning products.
