sonofsam 5 Posted January 29, 2008 Was that 90, or 60 I remember seeing that happen to someone else on here, the short brake hose has been rubbing on the inner arch and eventually failed, like yours. Do you have excessive camber on your rear beam? or was that hose on its way out anyway? I would be checking and replacing any others that look fatigued personally. toddydal 1 Posted January 29, 2008 what do you mean excessive camber, the hose has been rubbing and rubbed through, but it looked quite old,ive taken the pipe off now ready for the new one just to go strait on when i get the new one,ive clamped the pipe up now and it didnt loose all that much fluid, will i still have to bleed the systm? M@tt 77 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) what he means is, looking at the back of the car is the top the wheel further in than the bottom ie \ and therefore the flexi catching on the wheel? If you have camber it means you rear beam is knackered and needs sorting you will need to bleed that rear brake also as you will get air in it fitting a new flexi HTH Edited January 29, 2008 by M@tt
