M@tt 77 Posted January 28, 2008 I changed my pads and discs on teh 106 at the weekend as the discs were fooked and causing a massive judder under hard braking but when i came to fit the pads i found the didn't fit the same way round as i would have imagined, each one was 180 degrees round from the other one. Is this right? They definaitley wouldn't go in with 2 pads with the notches at the top or bottom as they were catching on bits on the yoke
pacey205 2 Posted January 28, 2008 I would have thought that was wrong Matt as the pads are offset from each other although it definitely looks as if the backing plates are the correct way round. Could be a manufacturing fault maybe ? Can you take them back and compare them to another set maybe, Im assuming the old pads were symetrical with each other when fitted ? Rob Thomson 6 Posted January 28, 2008 Nah, amazingly that's how they're supposed to be. I was similarly perplexed the first time I took mine apart.
