v6Max 0 Posted January 27, 2008 So I need to drop my existing beam and obviously need to jack the rear up but where - that's the question? I need to get axle stands under the sill points that are re-inforced for jacking so where is "safe" to use a trolley jack on that still leaves the existing points available for the axle stands? ginjaspeed 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Use the beam, in the center and jack the whole back in one go.
C_W 3 1 Cars Posted January 27, 2008 Or if the spare wheel is in the way, use the bottom of the shock mounts that's where I normally jack from.
v6Max 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Cheers - I looked at the shock lower mounting points but wasn't sure but I'll give that a go.
