New N/s/f Bottom Arm

Recommended Posts

McPikie

Just replaced my N/S/F bottom arm and driveshaft. Used the jack to raise the arm up to normal ride height before tightening the bolts up, used a new pinch bolt on the balljoint

Bloody thing is all over the motorway now

Accelerate and it feels like its puling left, coast and it feels like its going right.

Light throttle, pftttt, anywhere it fricking wants.

Is this down to not changing O/S at the same time (assuming that is also shagged) or has the new bottom arm highlighted the fact that the tracking is probably a mile out??

Please help me, before I strip the f***er for parts as its really starting to get on my nerves now

both of the above I reckon, especially if you used a new bolt.

I had this problem with mismatched wishbones. Best to replace as a pair IMO.

As above should always replace in a pair in my experience and get your tracking checked as this will more than likely be out.
