Cleaning Up Greyed Arch Trims

Recommended Posts

Paintguy
Paintguy, the plastic sprays do they do a shade or grey thats the same as the ph1 trim ...

I'm sure they do, but I'm not sure which one it is :)

If I can find a Ph1 trim hanging about, I'll have a look through for you.

I had some seriously greying bumber's, used some autoglym bumber car...worked a treat.

Also the heat gun technique does work, it brings the elements in the plastic back to the top.....have to be very carefull when doing it though.....also baby lotion does not work very well......penut butter is the other one...lol....seriously

has anyone tried taking them to a bodyshop to see if they could spray them black?? I have tried this on bumpers in the past but tended to give a flat finish

I always used to apply boot polish - looks great but it's a pain when someone actually rubs against it (the mrs!!!) I'm a posh b@stard now though, I use the autoglym bumper snot.
