Morris fully synthetic 75w/80. A better choice. 1.7 litres will do.

got mine from Fastparts Spiky, bit far for you though.

any decent motor factors should have it, one thing I would check first though it what quaiffe recommends, I know that Tranx specify a different oil to the manufacturer spec 75w80

I also use a Quaife diff. They recommend and stock Silkolene products. But, they have no issue with Morris, redline and a few others.

Yes, any mineral or semi-syth gear oil in that weight will be just fine.

It's not like with a plate diff that needs a specific oil.

I would recomend Total BV. I think the Be boxes perform better with these oil than most others in same thikness. Seems like the syncromesh alows faster changes and less wear. I have tired different 75-80 oils during last summers. Have been running Quaife ATB in this period.

Enjoy the new diff!

IIRC GSF do stock total, if not it'll be morris or Fuchs, Fastparts isnt far from Newbridge, down the valley in Abercarn but I dont think they sell Total, just your normal off the shelf stuff, I live another mile or so down the valley in Cwmcarn.

Just had another thought too, if you're set on total lube try Bijou garage in Cwmcarn, they use Total oils.

yeah they're all the right spec, bit expensive though, and you'll need 2 bottles.

you can get 2 litres for less than half that from a Peugeot/Citroen dealer.

They'll have gallons of the stuff in the workshop mate, box oil usually in 45 gallon drums, I think my local specialist keeps 50 litres minimum in stock.

pop along to the Pug/Citroen workshop with a suitable container and see one of the fitters :)
