wardy18 33 1 Cars Posted January 21, 2008 Ok quick question regarding cam timing Im fitting a new belt and need to confirm which way the engine turns so to get the arrows the right way on the belt, im 99% sure that if ur stood facing the crank and camshaft pulley and facing the drivers front wheel that the engine turns clockwise and in turn if you stood the passenger side of the car looking in the engine bay with the dizzy closest to you and the cam pully furthest away that the engine will be goin anti clockwise!! is this correct if so that means that the belt fits on with the arrows pointin to the front of the car?!? jackherer 543 Posted January 21, 2008 The crank turns the same way as the front wheels when the car is going forwards.
