How To Messure Track

when people say the track of the front (or rear) is 1510mm where do they messure this from? the centre of the wheel? the flange on the hub? the outside of the wheel?

Just a seccond thought, say im runnning wheels with a 15mm offset, that would make the distance from the hub flange/wheel mounting surface 1480mm apart?

Other way, ET15 would mean 1540mm between hub faces for 1510mm track.

Oops :D Thanks for your help sandy,

 

reason im asking as im going to make a quick jig for when i start welding up the space frame for the 309 and want to mount the hubs/carriers to it so i get them at the correct width and square to eachother
