Ive got a be3 gearbox on ebay, its got a crank sensor but i cant remember what i removed it from, Ive spent time cleaning it all up so i must of thought it would be ok on my pug but ive just looked at the final drive and its a 16*59 which i make out to be 3.68. Ive searched but cant find anything, it wouldnt have crank sensor if it was a diesel so what box is this. Cheers Phill

The 1.9 gearbox I've got downstairs has a 3.687 16 * 59 fd in but if its from a late motronic 205 GTi it would have a CAS fitted.

The only gearbox I've found that might have had a 3.9 fd fitted in a 205 is the CTi. I was looking for a 3.9 fd for a while last year but gave up seacrhing when i couldn't find one.

Is this for the one you listed as an Mi16 be3 Phill?

Cheers,

Graham.

Yes I had mi16 in the title just to attract a wider market, I was pretty sure it was a 1.9 box but I thought the final drive was a bit tall to be honest to be a gti box. Well ive put the info on ebay now so its there for everyone to see. Thanks for your help Graham.
