S16 / Mi16 Plastic Or Alloy Inlet Manifolds?

Hello all,

I'm currently on the hunt for a loom and ECU for my 205 project (a 2ltr Mi from a late 405). There's one on ebay from a Citroen ZX - the same engine I thought.

 

However, this one has an alloy inlet manifold. Is it the same engine, just with an alloy manifold instead of a plastic one? If it is the same can the plastic manifold on my engine simply be swapped for an alloy one, with no other work needed?

 

Assistance for a confused person would be much appreciated.

no UK market 16v ZX used an alloy manifold, have you got a link?

 

a part number from the ECU would help greatly.

Its the same engine, just half the manfold is missing! The plastic part bolts onto the alloy in the picture.

aaaah I forgot about that part! yeah the plastic bit bolts to that.
