Bakes100 20 1 Cars Posted January 14, 2008 (edited) Hi Guys After scanning the search l couldnt find a definitive answer so thought l would open a topic! I have 306 gti-6 calipers on my 1.9 205 with what look like standard hoses, i had it up on ramps the other day working on something else and i noticed they looked like they were pretty tight with a fair bit of tension on the hose. This obviously isnt good and l was wondering if the gti6 calipers require longer hoses which have not been fitted or whether l have the wrong hoses on my car? Will 306 gti6 hoses fit on the 205?? Or would braided hoses be a better fit?? Cheers Edited January 14, 2008 by Bakes100
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted January 14, 2008 Most common fault on the 205 is when on full lock the pipes stop flowing any fluild which is Dangerious in simple terms, 306 will fit but the end is wrong where it mounts onto the bodt tab, Can't think what the length is without going into the workshop but you need around 50mm extra length over a std 205 pipe, or look in my shop for the very pipe all with Stainless fittings
Bakes100 20 1 Cars Posted January 14, 2008 Cheers Miles, I brought some of your pipes off ebay earlier on to answer my own question! Thanks
