Tom Fenton 1,555 Posted January 8, 2008 Less than £40 for a reconditioned one last time I bought one, not worth messing about with a second hand one in my opinion. You will need to check what coupling you have though, an 89 car is on the changeover, some have a circular splined shaft on the rack, others have a square shaft on the rack. It is fairly obvious which you have if you get a good look down there with a torch. Whilst you are at the parts shop buy yourself a pair of track rod ends too.
